Emma & Clarke: A Beautiful Cheltenham Wedding

We recently had the great privilege to photograph and share in the beautiful Cheltenham wedding of Emma and Clarke.

From the planning process right through to the big day, their vibrant, creative and positive nature had us ‘fired-up’ to create images that truly reflected these wonderful characteristics.

We started off the day early by catching up with Clarke at his beautiful childhood home nestled in the Herefordshire countryside. Here we got to photograph the gents spending time relaxing in the Jacuzzi as well as getting ready generally for the momentous day ahead.

Later on we travelled a short way up the motorway to capture Emma getting ready at her bridesmaid’s house in Cheltenham.   The house was a hive of activity with highly commendable synchronised hair, makeup and dressing up in action. The ladies were so calm and organised that there was enough time left to do a few bride and bridal party portraits before departing for the church.

Emma looked absolutely radiant and we’re in no doubt Clarke would agree with us on this!

Emma’s ride to the church was a retro yellow VW beetle which got Jason reminiscing about his first ever car back in South Africa – a similar beetle, in exactly the same colour!

The church ceremony was packed full of many family and friends, and the room was filled with a supercharged mix of love & goodwill .Throughout the ceremony, there were beautiful hymns sung and special speeches shared.

After a quick hiccup with the weather, where it seemed rain would interrupt play, we got to spend time capturing group formals in the picturesque church gardens.

After this time, the celebrations started in earnest and there was plenty of dancing and fun to the tunes provided by the soulful live entertainment.  We’ve always been big fans of live music and the personable ambiance created by the band did not disappoint.

While guests continued to dance the night away, we stole away Emma and Clark to Pitville Park for their Bride and Groom portraits. The pump house in the park provided a great backdrop to the session.

We photographed as quickly as possible, before the sunset stole away the remaining natural light from us.

We are so happy Emma and Clarke chose us to capture their beautiful Cheltenham wedding and sincerely wish them both every success for the bright future ahead.

Thank you again!
