Choosing a wedding photographer can be a long and confusing process. That’s why we’ve created this section of the website to answer as many of your questions as possible. It’s important to us that you get all the information you need to make the right choice. But if there is anything else you need answering, please don’t hesitate to get in touch

Can we meet before booking or before the wedding day?
Absolutely. Getting to know us as your photographer is important as we’ll be with you all day and you need to feel 100% confident that you’re making the right choice. We’re more than happy to meet couples at our home where we can show you more of our work. Otherwise a chat on the phone is no problem either.
Do you travel for weddings?
Definitely. We love to travel, see new places and meet new people. There are no additional travel charges for weddings within a 50 mile radius of Rugby. For weddings which are further afield there will be an additional travel charge of £0.50 per mile and accommodation charges may apply.
Will you take some family group photographs?
We understand that some couples would like a small selection of traditional group photos. However, we encourage our couples to keep these to no more than 6 group pictures. This approach allows us to concentrate on capturing those natural and candid photos that most couples book us for.
Will you take some couple portraits of us?
Yes, of course. If this is something you would like, we can advise how much time to set aside in your wedding day timeline. We always aim to capture portraits using our natural and un-posed approach.
Do you photograph in colour or black & white?
We absolutely love black and white images and here are just a few of the reasons why:

• Timeless and classic.
• Emphasis on emotions and drama.
• Adds an appealing mystery.
• Lets the viewer focus on form, texture, shape and composition.
• Naturally causes the viewer to pause and look more closely.

Of course weddings are usually colourful events, so there is a place for colour too. Generally speaking, if the focus of the image is about colour, or colour is a strong feature, we would process these pictures in colour.

Normally we would deliver about 50 to 60% of your photographs in black and white and 40 to 50% in colour, which is how the majority of our couples prefer. This will vary from wedding to wedding but if you have any preferences please let us know.
How many images do we get from our day?
We don’t put any limits on how many photos we deliver for weddings but the key thing is not the quantity of images but the quality. We can reassure you though that we generally deliver around 400 – 500 photos for a full day wedding.
Do you edit all the images?
Yes, we individually edit every image that we deliver to you. The editing involves colour correcting, cropping and processing in our signature style but without altering images by moving things around or removing people from images etc.
How do we receive our wedding images?
Your images are provided fully edited and un-watermarked via your own online gallery - you will be able to download and share images from your gallery.
How long will it take until we receive our photographs?
Finished images will be uploaded to your online gallery 4-6 weeks after your wedding day - but not longer.
Can we make our own prints from our wedding photographs?
Definitely. Your wedding day belongs to you so your digital images come with a print licence for you to share and print as often as you like.
How do you prepare for our wedding day?
We encourage you to keep in touch during your wedding planning period to ask any questions you may have. We are just a phone call away and always available to chat and help plan for one of the biggest days of your life.

Around 4 weeks before your wedding we will send an online questionnaire for you to complete which covers the final details such as the timings and logistics of the day.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured and can provide evidence should your venue require this.
How do we book you?
To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable booking fee of £200 is required along with a completed and signed contract. The booking fee is payable via bank transfer. We’re afraid we cannot take provisional bookings or reserve dates otherwise. This fee is deducted from the package total, with the balance due not later than one month prior to the wedding. A courtesy reminder will be sent before final payment is due.
