Spring wedding venues in Northamptonshire

Nestled in a little valley surrounded by grazing sheep, rolling hills and epic photogenic sunsets, spring wedding venues in Northamptonshire don’t come more idyllic than this!

In the spring just gone, we had the chance to return to The Granary at Fawsley for the wonderfully colourful wedding of Libby & Shadab.

Gosia Spent the morning with the girls in the newly refurbished bridal room while I hung out with the guys in the morning nearby at Hellidon Lakes.

The plan was to hold the wedding outdoors on the lawn, but the wind didn’t get the memo and decided to blow at near galeforce all morning – Prompting the decision to move the vows upstairs into one of two of The Granary’s indoor ceremony rooms.

After the ceremony, there was a receiving line for friends and family to congratulate the newlyweds. Receiving lines are fab, and we always recommend them – they’re great for relaxed and natural candid pics!

In the afternoon, before the wedding breakfast and speeches, we grabbed some time to do some relaxed and natural ‘couple time’ portraits. The grounds and countryside around the Granary are perfect for this.

Later on, the evening festivities moved into the Barn. The Barn is a great space with plenty of room – This allows us to move around freely and mingle with guests, family and friends and capture all the moments as they unfold naturally – Especially around the dancefloor too, which was lit with action!
