Bridal Barn Wedding Photography

The Bridal Barn in Claverley, Bridgnorth is a beautiful and rustic country barn that sits in the heart of the Shropshire countryside. The venue is surrounded by private woods and a large central courtyard – which combined, offer the perfect backdrop for wedding photography.

Having visited the Bridal Barn previously, we knew we were in for a treat when we returned here for the wedding of Sam & Ben.

In the morning, Sam and Ben both got ready at their respective family homes. We are massive fans of this! What better way is there than to start your wedding day story in a place that holds special and sentimental memories?

Time always flies by so quickly in the morning, and soon it was time for the girls to leave for the Bridal Barn to make their final preparations in the seclusion of the unique on-site bridal lounge.

At the same time, Ben and the boys made some last-minute checks and tweaks to the venue before family, friends and guests were warmly welcomed into the outdoor courtyard at the bridal barn. For us, wedding photography is all about the coming together of loved ones, and in terms of Bridal Barn wedding photography, there is no better or more special place to celebrate together.

….and then just like that, the moment arrived when it was time for guests to take their seats. The ceremony room was filled with vibrant energy, and as soon as Sam & her Dad made their entrance down the aisle, you could feel how the emotion brought everyone closer together, alive in the moment! It was such a powerful and meaningful ceremony with beautiful and personal messages from loved ones. We were massively honoured to capture these memories for Sam & Ben.

The Bridal Barn Courtyard

Following the ceremony, the courtyard once again brought the wedding party together to celebrate and throw confetti. It has got to be said – this was probably the most joyous explosion of colour we’ve captured in our many years of photographing weddings.

The Bridal Barn then kindly laid on a little golf cart for us to make our way up into the hills for some couple-time portraits overlooking the venue. Not long after that, we made our way back into the courtyard for speeches outdoors. It was so nice to capture speeches this way – with plenty of light and room to manoeuvre and work at different angles.

As the summer evening drew in, the party got started in the tipi tent adjoining the courtyard, whilst outside, guests mingled and played party games.

Sam & Ben are super relaxed and it was so lovely to be a part of their special day. Thank you both so much for trusting us with your memories. Much love always xx
